PROVIDING A COMFORTABLE AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL OF OUR TRIBE. EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO AN HARASSMENT-FREE EXPERIENCE REGARDLESS OF RACE, ETHNICITY, GENDER, GENDER IDENTITY AND EXPRESSION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, BODY SIZE, ABILITY, PHYSICAL APPEARANCE, AGE, RELIGION, OR PLACE OF ORIGIN. WE DO NOT TOLERATE HARASSMENT IN ANY FORM.
La Connexional is dedicated to continuously working to provide a safer & harassment-free environment for all events. We invite our tribe to help us make the spaces we hold, places that are welcoming and respectful for all our community. We expect the entirety of our community to treat others with respect and abide by the following Safer Space Policy (SSP) at all times. This includes before, during and after in-person and online social events; or even as they interact on social media
Unacceptable Behaviours, which will not be tolerated at any time and in any form, include but are not limited to:
In the event that you feel unsafe or you witness someone that is being harassed, please head to the closest security guard or La Connexional staff and whisper/ask for “Serena or Jidenna” in their ears and they will take you to a safer place.
Our definition of harassment includes but isn’t limited to:
La Connexional ultimately reserves the right to decide what is or isn’t acceptable behavior in the spaces that we hold.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviours
Participants asked to stop unacceptable behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Participants who violate the SPP will be expelled from the event and related activities without a refund and/or banned from future (digital & phys spaces at the discretion of La Connexional.

We need your help to keep our community safe, accountable and responsible. If you experience or witness any forms of unacceptable behaviour, please bring your concerns to the immediate attention of La Connexional staff or contact hello@laconnexional.com directly.
